The Office of Control is an experimental art project by Max Gadney.
It studies the materials and processes that enable authoritarian systems.

Through plans, diagrams, garments and institutional artefacts, it examines the systems, objects and human complicities embedded in the planning of control.
The work reveals how the banal mechanics of architecture, bureaucracy and process become instruments of coercion, surveillance and social ordering.
